Pedestrian killed in crash near busy Fairfax County shopping center, police say
CENTREVILLE, Va. - A pedestrian was struck by a vehicle and killed near a busy shopping center in Centreville Friday evening, according to Fairfax County police.
Police announced via Twitter that they responded to the scene near Centrewood Drive and Saint Germain Drive around 6:54 p.m.
According to police, the driver remained on the scene.
They are asking drivers to find an alternate route around the crash scene.
