Pedestrian injured in Silver Spring hit-and-run; police search for driver

SILVER SPRING, Md. - Police are investigating a hit-and-run pedestrian accident in Montgomery County.

The accident happened at 6:15 a.m. at University Boulevard and Inwood Avenue in Silver Spring.

Police say the striking vehicle fled the scene following the accident.

The severity of the pedestrian's injuries are unclear at this time.
