Parents brawl at meeting over fight involving high school students

A meeting at a Long Island high school took a rowdy turn. But it wasn't the students who needed to be put in place.Parents at Connetquot High School in Bohemia were arguing with school officials, and with each other.

The meeting was over a student fight from last weekend.

Cell phone video surfaced showing kids armed with baseball bats, knives and brass knuckles in an all-out brawl at a Ronkonkoma industrial park.

It's not clear what sparked the fight between two rival groups of teens.

Parents say tensions have been rising on school grounds since September.

They claim school administrators have done nothing to stop it from escalating.

Now, security is tight at the Suffolk County School students have to have their bags checked before they can get to class.
