Officials: Small fire possibly set onboard Metro train
WASHINGTON - Authorities say passengers onboard a Metro train were evacuated after a small fire was possibly set inside.
Prince George's County Fire and EMS spokesperson Mark Brady said the fire involving papers or a magazine started just before 8 p.m. Monday. A Metro employee put out the fire with an extinguisher.
The train was evacuated the Addison Road-Seat Pleasant Metro station. There were no injuries reported.
Fire officials and Metro Transit Police are investigating how the fire started.
