Nurse shot dead in ‘targeted’ attack, police say

A Maryland nurse was shot dead while leaving her parents’ home in Anne Arundel County in what police are calling a "targeted" attack.

Incident details

Police say the shooting happened around 7:40 p.m. on October 29, 2024 in the 200 block of Snowcap Court in Glen Burnie. Officers believe 30-year-old Natasha Renne Harris was leaving her parents’ apartment building when she was gunned down in the parking lot.

She was found suffering from multiple gunshot wounds and was transported to the University of Maryland Baltimore Washington Medical Center where she later died.

Investigators say Harris was a single mother. They also say several witnesses were located and interviewed regarding the shooting.
