NBC 4's news chopper makes emergency landing; no injuries reported

FAIRFAX COUNTY, Va. - NBC 4's news helicopter made an emergency landing Thursday morning in Fairfax County.

Police have responded to the scene.

The chopper landed safely in an open area near Braddock Road and Interstate 495. No injuries were reported.

Mechanical issues are believed to have been responsible for the emergency landing.
