OXON HILL, Md. - It was a wonderful day for our FOX 5 ZIP TRIP finale in NATIONAL HARBOR!
The entire FOX 5 gang came out to celebrate the summer fun we had visiting city's and towns across the D.C. region!
Over the years, National Harbor has become the premier waterfront destination in the Washington, D.C. region!

There are so many fun things to do when visiting NATIONAL HARBOR it's hard to keep count! Here are THE 5 MUST STOPS that you just can't miss when taking your own ZIP TRIP!
OXON HILL MANOR: This historic home was constructed in 1928. Once the home of President Roosevelt's under-secretary, this Georgian brick home is now a premiere venue for weddings, receptions and gatherings. Check out the breath-taking views of the Potomac River while visiting the president's library. There's a ballroom, dining room, winding staircase and lush greenery outside.
FORT WASHINGTON PARK: The fort was built more than 200 years ago to defend the Potomac River approach to the nation's capital. currently Fort Washington is maintained by the national park service and open to visitors year round. Stop by the visitor center have lunch at the picnic area or enjoy the scenery and wildlife while taking a stroll or hike. it's just 12 miles south of D.C.
TANGER OUTLETS: Located minutes from the National Harbor and D.C. shop for deals at your favorite stores and grab a bite to eat. There's even a playground for the kids!
WOODROW WILSON BRIDGE TRIAL: This popular trail connects Maryland to Virginia from the National Harbor to Alexandria. Go for a stroll, run or bike ride along the water and across the Wilson Bridge. the views are amazing on the 3-point-3-mile trail.
NATIONAL HARBOR: There's lots to do at this waterfront district......from dining to boating to shopping. The national harbor is a true destination in the DMV. Take a ride on the capital wheel, be a guest at the Gaylord National Resort or try your hand at poker at the MGM. Make it a day trip or spend the weekend.
