National Dance Day at the Kennedy Center Saturday

The Kennedy Center commemorates National Dance Day with a day-long celebration open to the public on Saturday.

The Dizzy Feet Foundation and Congresswoman Eleanor Holmes Norton are partnering with the Kennedy Center to host National Dance Day.

The free event will feature interactive dance lessons, outdoor performances, and live music from 2 p.m. to 10:30 p.m.

Food and drink will be available for purchase.

So You Think You Can Dance choreographer Tony Bellissimo will lead the National Dance Day routine outside on the Kennedy Center's North Plaza.

The Millenium Stage Performance in the Grand Foyer will live stream on Facebook at 6 p.m.
