Murder suspect found dead inside Loudoun County home following standoff: sheriff's office
ASHBURN, Va. (FOX 5 DC) -- A murder suspect is dead after a standoff with police in Ashburn Wednesday.
According to the sheriff's office in Loudoun County, investigators went to question the man in connection with a murder in Washington, D.C.
Authorities say the man was holed up inside a house on Lamoreaux Landing Square.
When the sheriff's office and the U.S. Marshals went in the home, they say they found the man dead from an apparent self-inflicted injury.
No officers were hurt during this incident.
