Montgomery County teenager and baby missing; police looking for tips

WHEATON, Md. - Montgomery County police are asking for the public's help as they search for a missing teenager and her baby.

Fifteen-year-old Wendy Orvelina Hernandez and her 2-month-old baby, Jason Hernandez, were last seen by their family on Tuesday around 6:30 a.m.

The family told police that Hernandez and the child were last seen together leaving the home on Valleywood Drive on foot.

The family has not been able to contact the teenager since then.

Wendy Hernandez is described as a Hispanic female, 4-feet-11-inches tall and weighing 130 pounds. She has black hair and brown eyes. Jason Hernandez is described as a Hispanic male, with black hair and brown eyes.
