Mild Wednesday temperatures with showers expected late in the evening
WASHINGTON (FOX 5 DC) - Expect a pleasant Wednesday around the D.C. region with clouds, sun and mild temperatures in the upper-70s. FOX 5's Mike Thomas says we can expect dry skies to be with us for most of the afternoon with rain moving our direction much later tonight.
After a gorgeous Tuesday with plenty of sunshine we're looking at a cooler morning and afternoon Wednesday. A high pressure system will keep the wet weather at bay until close to midnight, Mike says.
Showers are expected through the overnight hours and a steady rain could be with us Thursday morning. We could get a break from the wet weather during the afternoon hours tomorrow. A Thursday afternoon cold front will bring back the threat of showers back during the late evening hours.
A breezy but mild Friday, a dry and sunny Saturday and a great day for the beach on Sunday are expected as we move toward the weekend.
