Metro: Woman charged with stabbing DC station manager

WASHINGTON (AP) -- Metro Transit Police say they've charged a southeast Washington woman in the stabbing of a station manager at the Stadium-Armory station last month.

Police say detectives arrested 20-year-old Melissa Langley at her home on Monday and charged her with assault with a deadly weapon.

Police say officers and medics were called to the station on March 15 for a report of a station manager who had been stabbed after a fare dispute. The station manager was taken to a local hospital and survived his injuries, but police say the assailant fled.
