Md. trooper's vehicle hit during traffic stop
PRINCE GEORGE'S COUNTY, Md. - Maryland State Police have arrested a suspect who is accused of hitting a trooper's vehicle and taking off.
The incident happened around 3:30 a.m. Friday on the Outer Loop of the Beltway near Allentown Road while the trooper was conducting a traffic stop.
The trooper was in the car when it was hit, according to authorities, and he was not injured. The suspect ran off after his vehicle became disabled.
Police say the suspect was taken into custody before 6 a.m.
