Md. teen identified as body found in Anacostia River

A body found in the Anacostia River earlier this month has been identified as a 16-year-old boy from Prince George's County in Maryland.

Oludumare Obasule Olushhola Ayodeji of District Heights, Maryland was discovered floating in the water by rowers underneath the Benning Road Bridge on the morning of July 3.

D.C. police say there are no signs of foul play in Ayodeji's death.

Prince George's County police issued a news release at the beginning of the month asking the public for information about Ayodeji's whereabouts after he went missing on June 30.

Ayodeji's body was the fourth body found in the waterways of D.C. in a two-week span.
