Md. masseur charged with sexually assaulting client

MONTGOMERY COUNTY, Md. - A masseur has been charged with sexually assaulting a woman at the Gaithersburg spa where he worked, Montgomery County police said.

On July 7, a 32-year-old woman told police that Gavin Otto, 42, gave her a massage at the Red Door Spa and sexually assaulted her.

Last month, a 37-year-old woman said Otto inappropriately touched her during a massage.

Otto was arrested December 2 and has been charged with one count of second-degree sex offense and one count of fourth-degree sex offense.

He was released from custody after posting a $20,000 bond.

Detectives believe that Otto may have sexually assaulted additional victims at the spa in his role as a masseur, and they want them to come forward.
