Man stabbed by spike jumping police fence

A man police believe may have been on a hallucinatory drug ended up with one of his legs impaled on a gate spike.

Officers say the incident happened after he tried to jump a fence at the Fort Lauderdale Police Department.

Freeing the man was a delicate operation.
