Man shot and killed in Prince George's County home

A man was shot and killed in Prince George's County early Saturday morning, police say.

Prince George's County police are now investigating the shooting at a home off Haynes Road.

Investigators say they got a call for the shooting at around 2:30 a.m.

Investigators say when they arrived they found an adult male, now identified as 25-year-old Christopher Stanley inside the house. They say he had been shot multiple times. He died at the scene.

Meanwhile, a neighbor tells FOX 5 there has been suspicious drug activity at the home for more than a year and the people inside the home had been causing trouble in the area.

"While it is tragic, I got two kids inside. There are multiple kids in the neighborhood and these guys were out here doing this all the time. And it took for someone to die for eyes to be opened. It really is sad but what can we say, what can we do? We already tried going to police once, the house was raided, they didn't find anything. The kids walked. And then they terrorized the president of the homeowner's association by slashing his tires and walk around bragging about it," said neighbor, Thomas Moore.

Detectives say this doesn't appear to be random and are looking to identify a suspect.

Anyone with information that could aid detectives in their investigation is urged to call 1-866-411-8477.
