Man recovering after being shot near Arlington Burger King

A 20-year-old man is recovering after he was shot in the leg near an Arlington fast-food restaurant.

The shooting occurred around 11p.m. Thursday outside of a Burger King on the 3600 block of Columbia Pike.

Originally believe to have occurred inside of the restaurant, police say the shooting happened outside on the street. The restaurant was surrounded with police crime scene tape for several hours Thursday morning.

Detectives are still searching for suspects at this time. No motive for the shooting has been released.
