Man killed in early morning shooting in northwest DC

WASHINGTON - Authorities say a man was shot and killed early Friday morning in northwest D.C.

Police said they responded to the 1000 block of Quebec Place just before 1:35 a.m. for the report of a shooting. When they arrived, officers from the victim unconscious and not breathing with gunshot wounds to the upper body.

The man was pronounced dead at the scene. No suspects or motives have been identified.
