Man dies in Northeast DC shooting in early hours of Memorial Day
WASHINGTON - WASHINGTON (AP) -- Police in Washington say a man is dead after a shooting in the early hours of Memorial Day.
The Metropolitan Police Department said in a statement that police were called around 2:15 a.m. Monday to the 700 block of 24th Street NE for a report of a shooting. Police say when officers arrived they found an adult male suffering from an apparent gunshot wound. Police say the man was dead.
Police identified the man as 40-year-old Tyrone Bradley of southeast Washington.
Police did not say what may have led to the shooting or release the description of any suspects.
