Man arrested in sexual assault, robbery of woman in Northwest DC

Police have arrested a man in the sexual assault of a woman in Northwest D.C. early Tuesday morning.

Glenvert Leon Green, 24, of Southeast D.C., has been charged with kidnapping, first-degree sexual abuse and robbery.

The assault occurred at around 6:50 a.m. Tuesday in the 1400 block of Clifton Street. Police say the victim was forced into a rear alley by a male suspect who robbed and sexually assaulted her.
