Man charged in deadly shooting at Navy Yard apartment complex
A man has been charged with second-degree murder after police say he shot and killed another man at a luxury apartment complex in Navy Yard on Tuesday.
WASHINGTON - A man has been arrested for shooting and killing a man in a luxury apartment complex in Navy Yard on Tuesday, according to D.C. police.
Police say 37-year-old De’Angelo Goldston has been charged with second-degree murder for the death of 61-year-old Darryl Smith.

Around 4:30 p.m., officers responded to a shooting inside the Park Riverside, an apartment complex in Navy Yard on First Street, SE. There, they found an unconscious man with a gunshot wound, barely breathing. He was rushed to an area hospital, where he was later pronounced dead.
Officers arrested Goldston at the scene and a gun was recovered. Investigators believe the shooting stemmed from a domestic dispute and was an isolated incident.
