Maggiano's restaurant in Friendship Heights given all-clear after phone threat

More problems have occurred for a popular restaurant in D.C. that hosted a white nationalist group last week.

Police say a bomb threat was called in to Maggiano's Little Italy restaurant in Friendship Heights Tuesday afternoon just before 2:00 p.m. Police quickly responded to the situation and evacuated everyone. There have been no arrests at this time. The restaurant was given the all-clear around 3:45 p.m.

Maggiano's has apologized for hosting last Friday's event, but managers say they were duped.

They say when members of the white nationalist group booked their event they did not properly identify themselves, and instead told the restaurant they needed a room to hold a family reunion.
