Lucky viewer wins new 2016 Mazda 6 in FOX 5 Zip Trip Giveaway

NATIONAL HARBOR, Md. - All summer long, FOX 5 has promised one lucky viewer a new 2016 Mazda 6 - and Friday, at our final Zip Trip of the summer to National Harbor, we delivered!

As our cameras rolled, fourteen contestants were each given a key to a new Mazda knowing only one would start their new dream car. The contestants waited for the countdown clock to reach zero - then they each tried their luck.

Oh man, but nothing is easy - not even winning a car LIVE on FOX 5! We expected to hear the roar of an engine and the screams of a lucky winner...but as we waited...LIVE...on the air...we heard NOTHING! Our lucky contestant had a little trouble getting the car to start!

Not to worry - after she figured out how to get her new ride going, Vennia Davis claimed the prize - and she was all smiles!
