Jimmy Buffett enjoys crab cakes at Annapolis restaurant, goes sailing

Jimmy Buffett took some time to get away from Margaritaville to sail the waters of the Chesapeake Bay in Maryland.

The star musician was in Annapolis on Thursday to meet up with a group of people from the Naval Academy for the sailing adventure.

Buffett also visited the Boatyard Bar and Grill for lunch. The owner of the Annapolis restaurant, Dick Franyo, said Buffett ordered the crab cake. Franyo was even invited by Buffett for the sailing outing.

"I went out and sailed with him and some of our other Naval Academy friends," said Franyo. "He was gracious. He was just so nice to everyone."

It was no cheeseburger in paradise, but Buffett is a big fan of the crab cake he had.

"He said I have never seen so much crab in a crab cake. This is amazing," Franyo recalled.

It's not surprising because everyone knows crab cakes and football -- that's what Maryland does!
