Indian Head Highway crash causes major delays in Fort Washington area
FORT WASHINGTON, Md. - Major delays after a serious crash along southbound Indian Head Highway in Prince George's County.
The crash was reported around 7:30 a.m. near Swan Creek Road in the Fort Washington area.
Officials believe the vehicle left the roadway and struck a tree. injuries to those involved are non-life-threatening.
On Tuesday, authorities say a Prince George's County police officer who struck a pedestrian in a crosswalk on Indian Head Highway Tuesday morning had previously been investigated for a crash that she was involved in while on duty.
