Here’s what’s coming to FOX this fall

FOX’s fall TV lineup is bringing back hits and debuting new shows. 

From FOX staples like "Doc" and "Murder in a Small Town" to new game shows like "Celebrity Weakest Link" to its long-running animated favorites such as "The Simpsons" and "Bob’s Burgers," here’s a look at what’s returning and premiering.

FOX 2025 fall lineup

  • "Name That Tune": Monday, Sept. 15.

Hosted by Jane Krakowski and Randy Jackson, two players compete against each other in a race against the clock to test their knowledge of songs performed by a live band.

  • "Celebrity Weakest Link": Monday, Sept. 15

In "Celebrity Weakest Link," a team of contestants try to reach and complete a chain of correct answers from general knowledge questions within a certain time limit. At the end of each round, one person is considered the "weakest link" by either answering questions wrong or not banking money. The show, which made its debut in 2001, was revived starring Jane Lynch in 2020.

  • "Doc": Tuesday, Sept. 23

After a brain injury erases the last eight years of Dr. Amy Larsen's life, she must navigate an unfamiliar world where she has no recollection of patients she's treated, colleagues she's crossed, the soulmate she divorced, the man she now loves or the tragedy that caused her to push everyone away. 

  • "Murder in a Small Town": Tuesday, Sept. 23

Karl Alberg moves to the idyllic coastal town of Gibsons to become the new police chief and soothe a psyche that has been battered by big-city police work. Unfortunately, the gentle paradise has more than its share of secrets, and Karl needs to call upon all the skills that made him a world-class detective in solving the murders that, even in this seemingly idyllic setting, continue to wash up on his shore. 

  • "99 to Beat": Wednesday, Sept. 24

One hundred contestants go head-to-head in a range of  hilarious games. Each round sees the number of players whittled down until one person is left standing and they take home the life-changing top prize of $1,000,000.

  • "The Floor": Wednesday, Sept. 24

Hosted by Rob Lowe, the physical quiz show sees 100 contestants face off in quiz duels on a giant LED floor divided into a hundred equal squares, each representing its own field of knowledge.

  • "Hell’s Kitchen": Thursday, Sept. 25

On "Hell’s Kitchen," aspiring chefs brave Chef Gordon Ramsay and his fiery command of the kitchen as he puts the competitors through an intense culinary academy to prove they possess the right combination of ingredients to win a life-changing grand prize. The chefs must raise their games if they want to prove to Ramsay that they have what it takes to win.

  • "Special Forces: World’s Toughest Test": Thursday, Sept. 25

Celebrities from all genres take on, and try to survive, demanding training exercises led by directing staff agents, an elite team of ex-Special Forces operatives. In this unique series, the only way for these recruits to leave is to give up on their own accord, through failure or potential injury, or by force from the agents.

  • "The Simpsons": Sunday, Sept. 28

The beloved animated series focuses on the eponymous family in the town of Springfield in an unnamed U.S. state. The head of the Simpson family, Homer, is not a typical family man. A nuclear-plant employee, he does his best to lead his family but often finds that they are leading him. The family includes loving, blue-haired matriarch Marge, troublemaking son Bart, overachieving daughter Lisa and baby Maggie.

  • "Universal Basic Guys": Sunday, Sept. 28

"Universal Basic Guys" centers on two brothers, Mark and Hank Hoagies, who lose their jobs to automation and are given $3,000 a month in a new basic income program. Now, they’re using their free time and free money to find purpose in a world where they’re no longer needed.

  • "Krapopolis": Sunday, Sept. 28

"Krapopolis" is centered on a flawed family of humans, gods and monsters that tries to run one of the world’s first cities without killing each other. 

  • "Bob’s Burgers": Sunday, Sept. 28

Bob Belcher is a third-generation restaurateur who runs the restaurant Bob’s Burgers with his ever-quirky wife, Linda, and three children. Bob believes his burgers speak for themselves and isn't afraid to offer a variety of off-beat creations. Bob's wife, Linda, supports his dream but is becoming sick of the slow times, as the restaurant is constantly in danger of going out of business. Despite the challenges -- Bob tries to keep the grill sizzling.

‘The Masked Singer’ will not be returning this fall

Following Season 13 of "The Masked Singer," the network is giving the show a little bit of breather. 

Season 14 of "The Masked Singer" will return in January 2026.

The network said in statement to Variety in May, "Among Fox’s most enduring signature shows is ‘The Masked Singer’ with a truly devoted fanbase. This juggernaut will return next year for Season 14 as it takes midseason by storm with a spectacular, super-charged new season."

The network added that the decision to hold off on the new season until January was "a strategic move to give ample runway for America’s favorite guessing game. and allow us to creatively look at enhancing the show with the biggest names at the center of it."

Other shows premiering on FOX in 2026 will include, "Going Dutch," "Best Medicine," "Memory of a Killer," and the limited mini-series "The Faithful."
