Gas prices jump; still lower than same time last year

Those sinking gas prices couldn't last forever.

The average price of a regular gallon of gas jumped 13 cents in the past two weeks.

A rebound in the price of crude oil caused the run-up at the pump.

According to AAA, the average price in Maryland is $2.20, $2.08 in Virginia, and $2.41 in the district.

However, gas costs more than a dollar less than this time last year.
