Freight train derailment shuts down portion of Industrial Road in Springfield
SPRINGFIELD, Va. - A derailed freight train shut down a portion of the 5600 block of Industrial Road in Springfield on Wednesday afternoon.
Fairfax County police say no one was injured, and no hazards were reported, but drivers in the area could expect delays.
The road reopened at around 9 p.m., officials say.
