Freezing drizzle, ice possible as Winter Weather Advisory issued until 8 am Thursday

WASHINGTON – The Alberta clipper has moved out of the D.C. metro area Wednesday, but possible icy spots has caused another Winter Weather Advisory to be issued for a majority of the area.

The Winter Weather Advisory is in effect until 8 a.m. Thursday. Freezing drizzle, light freezing rain and freezing fog Wednesday night overnight into Thursday morning could produce trace amounts of ice, slippery conditions and limited visibility on the roads. Drivers are being advised to use extra caution.

Temperatures are expected to be in the upper 20s to lower 30s overnight.
