FOX Beat: Will Smith says kids playing football issue "not black and white"

In the new film, 'Concussion,' Will Smith plays real-life doctor, Dr. Bennet Omalu who fought against efforts to suppress his research on brain damage suffered by NFL players.

Smith sat down with FOX 5's Kevin McCarthy and opened about a hot-button question - would he let his son play football?

"I'm so glad that I only have to answer that hypothetically," Smith said. "It's not black and white and that's the real difficulty. It's so much fun, and the bonding, and the connection… For me, I think it would be about the truth which is what the film centers on."
