FOX Beat: Spike Lee, Teyonah Parris talk about new film, 'Chi-Raq'

In the new Spike Lee film, 'Chi-Raq,' the girlfriend of a Chicago gang leader convinces other women to ban together and abstain from sex until the city's violence is put into check.

Lee, and actress Teyonah Parris, joined Kevin McCarthy to chat about the film.

"Being a part of a film that has a message and is trying to affect change, it's what I want to do. Spike has inspired me, over his 30-plus-years of making film, to say something with your art," Parris said.

Kevin also got to 'geek-out' and ask the legendary director to breakdown his famous double-dolly shot and talk about the meaning behind his signature line, 'A Spike Lee Joint.'
