FOX Beat: Jamie Lee Curtis has given up watching horror films

Jamie Lee Curtis has given up watching horror films. The original scream queen spoke with FOX 5's Kevin McCarthy and broke the news. "I don't watch horror films. I have no interest in horror films," she told him.

Curtis, who made her film debut in the horror classic Halloween, might not watch scary movies anymore, but she's set to star in a new FOX series that will surely send chills down your spine!

'Scream Queens,' stars Curtis who plays the dean of a university that is rocked by a mysterious murder - and no one can figure out who the killer is!

Curtis told Kevin that none of the cast members of the show have contracts beyond this year - so no one knows which direction the show will take. "So we are all applying ourselves every day with the understanding that the next script could come in and we can read that we're dead!" she said.

If she doesn't make it out of season one alive, Curtis can always work at getting Kevin McCarthy his own late night talk show - an idea she said would be great!

"FOX. Him. Now. Really. Is there a late night FOX show? I don't think so," she said.
