Former Minnieland assistant teacher sentenced for sexually abusing children

PRINCE WILLIAM COUNTY, Va. (FOX 5 DC) - A former Minnieland Academy assistant teacher who sexually abused children at the school was sentenced to 41 years in prison on Thursday.

Taylor Boykin of Nokesville, Va. pleaded guilty in October to sexually abusing the children - who were all under the age of 5 at the time.

Boykin was arrested after a victim reported the abuse to a parent, and Prince William County police investigated.

While they were investigating, police found several more victims.
