Flight out of Reagan National Airport evacuated following suspicious activity

An American Airlines flight from Reagan National to Boston deplaned Sunday after the crew reported suspicious activity from two passengers.

All passengers were deplaned while a K9 team swept the aircraft. The team did not detect any abnormalities and the flight later departed for Boston.

Both individuals were questioned by the Metropolitan Washington Airport Authority and released. American Airlines says the two passengers "will be re-accommodated on a later flight" to Boston.
