Fire forces family of 8 out of Germantown home

A fire forced a family of eight from their home in Germantown.

The fire happened on Staten Court around 2:30 a.m. Thursday.

The initial investigation shows the fire may have started near an air conditioning unit and then spread into the house.

None of the four adults or four kids was hurt.
