Fire breaks out on Thanksgiving at Northeast DC home

WASHINGTON - Firefighters have put out a fire on Thanksgiving at a home in Northeast D.C.

The fire happened in the 3500 block of 24th Street Thursday afternoon. According to D.C. Fire and EMS, the fire started in the fireplace and extended to the walls on the first and second floors.

There were no injuries were reported.
