Fatal car crash on Olney Sandy Spring road

Montgomery County police say that there was a fatal crash on Sunday morning. The accident was on olney sandy spring road and involved a single car into a pole.

One adult female, Ioanna Kaskasian, age 41, was transported to the hospital but died due to her injuries.

Police say that olney sandy spring road (MD 108) is closed in both directions do to the crash and police officers are rerouting drivers thru Sherwood High Schools parking lot. Follow police direction.
