Escaped Md. inmate who walked away from hospital found, arrested

COLUMBIA, Md. - Police in Howard County said they have located and arrested an escaped inmate.

Authorities said 52-year-old Timothy David Powers walked away from the Howard County General Hospital in Columbia where he was receiving treatment at around 8 p.m. Thursday.

He was located by detectives Friday afternoon in Laurel and taken into custody without incident.
