Driver injured after bus runs off road in Prince George's County

CLINTON, Md. (FOX 5 DC) - Commuters faced delays Wednesday after a commuter bus ran off of the road in Prince George's County.

The crash happened around 7:30 a.m. on southbound Branch Avenue near Surratts Road in Clinton, Maryland.

Only the bus driver was onboard, officials say. He was freed from the crash and suffered what appear to be non-life-threatening injuries.

The cause of the crash is still under investigation.
