Driver arrested with DUI after pedestrian struck, killed in northwest D.C.

WASHINGTON - A pedestrian was struck and killed by the driver of vehicle early Friday morning.

The accident happened around 1:30 a.m. in the 1400 block of Massachusetts Avenue in northwest D.C.

Detectives from the Metropolitan Police Department's Major Crash Unit have arrested 24-year-old Roshonda Michelle Josephs of Northwest, DC. She was charged with Driving Under the Influence.

The decedent has not been identified. The case remains under investigation.
