Dirt bikes, ATVs spotted on local roads as warmer weather approaches

WASHINGTON (FOX 5 DC) - The warmer weather is once again bringing out dirt bikes and ATVs on our area roads.

This video was captured last night on Suitland Parkway by a FOX 5 photojournalist.

Driving dirt bikes and four-wheelers on the road is illegal but police across our area are hesitant to go after riders because they don't want to put other drivers or pedestrians in danger.

The dirt bike riders often travel in packs and do dangerous tricks on the road.
