Delays along Metro red line in Bethesda following reports of track fire outside station

Red line trains are experiencing delays near the Bethesda Metro after the fire crews responded to reports of a track fire outside the station.

Complete closures were in place at 7 a.m. Some train traffic has returned, however, delays remain.

Shuttle buses are being brought in to take riders to and from the Medical Center station.
