School officials released a back‑to‑school checklist organized into four "to‑do" lists covering the most important tasks for families.

The enrollment section includes information on enrolling at an in‑boundary DCPS school, applying to public charter and out‑of‑boundary or citywide DCPS schools through the My School DC lottery, and accessing resources for early childhood, special education, career and technical education, child care and out‑of‑school‑time programs.
The health records and immunizations list highlights required forms, annual medical and dental visits and the District’s immunization requirements.

The transportation section provides details on Kids Ride Free, Safe Passage and specialized transportation services.
