DC police union donating supplies to hurricane victims

Members of the D.C. Fraternal Order of Police have been collecting donations to help the victims of the hurricanes wreaking havoc on the United States.

The officers have donated their own items and coordinated between family, friends and local businesses to fill four large trailers with supplies the victims desperately need.

"These are all donations. We put out a plea to our members knowing what Harvey has done to Texas, knowing that Irma was coming up," Matt Mahl with the D.C. FOP explained.
