DC 9th on list of hardest working US cities; Anchorage tops list

When it comes to hardworking Americans - D.C. has some of the best.

The nation's capital is the ninth hardest working city in the U.S. according to a new survey by Wallet Hub.

The company compared factors such as average hours worked per week, commute time and average retirement age.

Virginia Beach comes in second while Baltimore comes in number 60 on the list.

The hardest working city - Anchorage, Alaska - while the least hardest is Burlington, Vermont.
