Cops arrest man after he tried to steal bike from police station, authorities say

(FOX 5 DC) - Authorities say they arrested a man who was caught on video trying to steal a bicycle from a police station.

The Gladstone Police Department posted this video of the incident on its Facebook page.

In the video, Sergeant Okerman can be seen emerging from the station and confronting the suspect with a taser. The man clearly realized there was nowhere to go and promptly surrendered.

Gladstone is about ten miles south of Portland, Oregon.
