Construction worker killed in DC site accident

WASHINGTON - A D.C. construction worker is dead after he was pinned under the body of a truck at a site in Northwest on Christmas Eve.

Crews responded to the scene in the 3900 block of Wisconsin Avenue, Northwest around 11:45 a.m.

They say the worker was lowering the bed of the dumptruck when he became trapped.

Authorities have not identified the victim.
