Coast Guard video shows devastation in Houston area

HOUSTON (Fox 32 News) - The U.S. Coast Guard shared video on Sunday evening that showed the shocking extent of the devastation in the Houston area.

The video shows homes surrounded by floodwaters as far as the eye can see.

Thousands of people had to be rescued from flooded homes over the weekend.

Forecasters are expecting about 50 inches of rain to fall on the Houston area before Tropical Storm Harvey burns out.
