Citigroup testing ATM that would allow withdraws using eye scanning tech
One bank is trying to eliminate the debit card by testing new ATM technology that would allow you to make withdraws using your Smartphone and your eyes.
Citigroup is working with an ATM manufacturer to create the new technology. According to a report on NBC News, users would schedule withdraws on their Smartphone.
When they get to the ATM, they would simply use the eye scanner which would scan their iris.
Iris scans are considered much more secure than fingerprint technology.
The ATM would also allow users to use their Smartphones to make withdraws.
